Cultivate your understanding of how deep relaxation, profound unwinding, and spiritual elevation can be accessed through the subtle and powerful art of Tibetan cranial touch, palate release, and psoas unwinding. This workshop is a great foundation for anyone wanting to start hands-on touch as well as for massage therapists seeking to add new techniques to their practice.
What you will learn
Tibetan Cranial Touch
Known traditionally as Thoba Khujatag, this Tibetan skull moving technique utilizes touch to the bones of the skull to assess the balance or imbalance of the bone structure in connection to the brains ability to expand and contract within the skull.
We will learn the cranial and facial bones of the head, learn to assess the structure of the bones and the sutures between the bones, and apply techniques to restore balance.
Palate Release
The palate is located in the roof of the mouth, in the meeting place between the spine and the brain stem.
We will learn to massage the palate to relax the body, unwind unhealthy patterns, and promote health.
Psoas Unwinding
The psoas muscle connects our spine to our pelvis. It protects our abdominal cavity and responds to trauma.
We will learn how to locate the psoas muscle, unwind, and soothe the psoas to restore balance and provide relief for anxiety, grief, anger, and release unhealthy holding patterns.
Herbalism for the Brain & Muscles
We will learn both Western and Ayurvedic herbs, as well as Aromatherapeutics to support the brain and muscles.
